Stunning and good location - close to the centre of a beautiful village with welcoming staff, local tourist spots and the pond outside. Delicious and satisfactory breakfast, a good choice of food and beverages.

Beds were a bit too soft.

Staff extreamely friendly and helpful. A hotel with character set in its own pleasant grounds. Uneven floor in reception an example of its character.

Room ready for a bit of a spruce-up

Its location is magnificent, just off Kingham train station, and the pond outside. And it's by River Evenlode.

generally very pleasant. Walking available straight from the door

If using zip up beds to create a large double a thin over mattress she be used as the seam down the middle is very uncomfortable to lie on.Room 24 a little tired and could do with redecoration.

the value for money was incredible. We had a delicious 3 course meal and full english breakfast included in our room rate. Staff were very lovely and the hotel is very quaint. A lovely spot to get away from the hussle and bussle of city life. Also nice and close to most popular villages in cotswolds. Two thumbs up from us!

Lovely setting and hotel. Great breakfast.

Very nice hotel but not worth £100 per room per night for 2 adults.

    The location.

We were given a classic room by mistake and it was basic. Toiletries minimal. Kettle socket position meant kettle was in front of tv screen. Linen and towels not crisp and clean-looking. Nowhere in the bathroom to hang bath towels. Everything needed updating. We stayed two nights and the dinner menu was the same both evenings. Menu was not varied enough.

    great food
    friendly staff
    comfy room
    too warm
    car trouble

What an amaizin place! We had a fabulous time here. The food was just delicious, especially that ribeye steak, best i ever had! The staff were super friendly and even helped us out when our car broke down. Such a comfy room too, made it hard to get up in the morning! Love the beautiful gardens for a stroll too.

But it was a bit warm at night, and we could've used a thinner duvet. The wait for the RAC was a bit annoying too.

    Very Comfy King Courtyard
